What's the best way to order Focus Vision Supplements?

We encourage you to create an account on our website to place orders. Your account portal will allow you to check the status of your current order, change your billing or shipping information, as well as check your order history. If you use the subscription/auto-shipment system, you can always visit the order status page to find out when your next shipment will arrive. If you would prefer to order via our customer service agents, you may call (855) 659-9814.

How are my vitamins shipped?

Shipping is via Fedex Ground, Fedex 2nd Day, or United States Postal Service with the exception of Hawaii which is only United States Postal Service. Shipping is free on individual bottles when you choose the autoship option. Learn more about Auto-Renewal.

Can I return my vitamin order?

Retail purchases may be returned for a full refund less shipping and handling within 30 days. Returns require an RMA number. Please call (855) 659-9814 for return instructions. Wholesale orders are not refundable except in the case of damaged goods.

Can I cancel my order?

Please call (855) 659-9814 if you need to cancel your order. If an order has shipped, an RMA is given for returns per the instructions above.

How can I check the status of my order and see package tracking information?

Log into your account to check tracking information for each of your orders. Go to the order section on the My Account page, click the latest order, under which, tracking information is available for the order.

I signed up for subscription ordering, but am unsure when my next order is going to arrive. How do I find out?

When placing subscription orders, products are shipped every 90 days (Focus MaculaPro^®) or every 180 days (Focus Relief^™). Login to your account, and view your order history to see the last date of the subscription order. The next subscription order is scheduled for processing the designated period after the last subscription order date. In general, subscription orders are processed and entered on your account 5-10 days prior to delivery. If you would like an estimated delivery date, send us a note through the Contact Us page and we'll be glad to provide you the estimated delivery date.

I signed up for subscription ordering and I'm going to run out early. Can you send my next order early?

What is the recommended dose of Focus MaculaPro^®?

The recommended daily intake is one tablet twice daily.

How long does a bottle of Focus MaculaPro^® last?

Each bottle of Focus MaculaPro^® contains 180 tablets (a three month supply). The shelf-life of Focus MaculaPro^® is 2 years from date of manufacture.

What should I do if I have questions about Focus MaculaPro^®?

Speak to your Ophthalmologist or Optometrist about the role of vitamin supplements in age related macular degeneration. Any side effect-related questions should be addressed to him/her. If you have specific questions regarding Focus MaculaPro^® packaging or comments regarding our product, contact us.

Who should take Focus MaculaPro^®?

People who are at a high risk for developing advanced AMD should consider taking Focus MaculaPro^®. Your eye care professional can tell you if you have AMD and are at risk for developing the advanced form of the disease. Before taking these high levels of vitamins and minerals, you should talk with your doctor about the risk of developing advanced AMD and whether taking Focus MaculaPro^® is right for you.

What is the dosage of the AREDS Formulation?

The specific daily amounts of antioxidants and zinc used by the study researchers were 500 milligrams of vitamin C; 400 International Units of vitamin E; 15 milligrams of beta-carotene (often labeled as equivalent to 25,000 International Units of vitamin A); 80 milligrams of zinc; and two milligrams of copper. The physicians of Focus MaculaPro^® based its formula on the formula used in the AREDS study.

Are the high dosages of these supplements safe?

The AREDS study followed 3600 patients for seven years and monitored them for side effects very closely. Out of thousands of patients, some AREDS participants experience minor side effects, but no serious side effects from the supplements were found.

Can I take a daily multivitamin if I am taking Focus MaculaPro^®?

Yes, as long as you first check with your primary care doctor and he or she approves of your taking the combination of the additional multivitamin.

Can a daily multivitamin alone provide the same levels of antioxidants and zinc as Focus MaculaPro^®?

No. Focus MaculaPro^®'s levels of antioxidants and zinc are considerably higher than the amounts in any daily multivitamin.

Can diet alone provide the same levels of antioxidants and zinc as Focus MaculaPro^®?

No. The levels of vitamins and minerals are difficult to achieve from diet alone.

Will taking Focus MaculaPro^® prevent a person from developing AMD?

No. There is no known treatment that can prevent the development of AMD.

Will taking Focus MaculaPro^® improve my vision?

No. The AREDS study showed that the vitamins taken supported eye health, but the AREDS study did not show that patients would see improvement in their vision. No vitamin or supplement has ever been scientifically proven to improve vision lost to AMD.

Are former smokers at an increased risk for developing lung cancer if they take high doses of beta-carotene?

Large clinical trials sponsored by the National Cancer Institute demonstrated that beta-carotene increases the risk of lung cancer in current smokers. Other studies have shown a potential risk in patients who have quit smoking as well. You should ask your doctor if it is safe for you to take supplements with beta-carotene. Focus MaculaPro^® + Lutein does not contain any beta carotene.

What about other antioxidants such as bilberry and folate?

The AREDS study did not evaluate bilberry, folate, or other ingredients. At this time there is no proven benefit in taking these supplements.

Why is Focus MaculaPro^® less expensive than other macular health vitamins? Are they lower quality?

Focus MaculaPro^® is an extremely high-quality eye health vitamin. It is manufactured in an FDA registered facility. Focus MaculaPro^® is extensively tested to ensure compliance with our high quality standards.

Focus Vision Supplements are developed by over 400 retina specialists, the doctors who treat macular degeneration, as a service to their patients. They priced Focus MaculaPro^® lower than competing brands because their primary motivation is providing their patients with a reasonably priced, high-quality, eye health vitamin.

What is a retina specialist?

A Retina Specialist is an Ophthalmologist who has undertaken two extra years of specialized training known as a Retinal Fellowship to master the medical and surgical treatment of retinal and macular diseases. An Ophthalmologist is a medical Doctor who typically has 12 years of post high school education (four years each of College, Medical School, and Residency training). A Retinal Specialist is an Ophthalmologist who has also taken a Retina Fellowship.
